• Service Provision: The information collected is used to deliver personalised nutrition and skin therapy services, tailored to support the self-healing mechanisms of your body through dietary, exercise, and lifestyle management.

Informed Consent

Practitioner Information

The practitioner at Glow by Elly is a Clinical Nutritionist and Dermal Therapist, not a medical doctor. They do not practise or prescribe allopathic medicine. Instead, they focus on activating and supporting the body's self-healing mechanisms using Nutritional Medicine to encourage preventative health care through dietary, exercise, and lifestyle management.

Treatment Understanding and Agreement

By using the services provided by Glow by Elly, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You understand that the practitioner is not a medical doctor and does not provide allopathic medical treatments.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete health information to the best of your knowledge.

• You understand that the treatments provided are aimed at supporting your body's natural healing processes and are not a substitute for conventional medical care.

• All reports can only be sent after a consultation. All documents discussed in a consultation will be sent via email once the invoice for the consultation has been settled.

Consultation Overtime Policy:

If a consultation exceeds the scheduled time by 15 minutes or more, the practitioner reserves the right to adjust the invoice accordingly. For example, if a 45-minute consultation ($150) extends to 60 minutes, the invoice will be updated to reflect the 60-minute consultation fee ($170) unless prior discussed with the practitioner.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

There is a 50% non-refundable deposit fee for all bookings. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Failure to notify us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment for any reason will result in a loss of the 50% deposit or a 50% cancellation fee. No Show patients will lose their deposit and be invoiced for the remaining 50% of the missed service. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing us to serve all clients effectively.

Refund Policy

• Supplements: No refunds will be given for opened or used supplements, change of mind or supplements that have been purchased and have left the clinic. Supplements cannot be put back on the shelf for others to repurchase, even if unopened for quality assurance reasons as per Australian Consumer Law regulations.

• Consultations: No refunds will be given for consultations that have already been delivered and completed.

• Meal Plans: No refunds will be given for any meal plans. Amendments to personalised meal plans may incur additional costs.

• Functional Tests: No refunds will be given for any ordered and used functional tests.

• Skin Treatments: Glow by Elly has a ‘no refund’ policy on purchases of services including skin treatments and skincare that has already been taken home with the client. Treatments and services are also not transferable to other individuals, and they cannot be swapped for other treatments or services unless authorised.

Package Payments & Refund Policy – Nutrition & Skin Journeys

At Glow by Elly, we offer a range of Nutrition Packages and Skin Journey Programs that bundle discounted consultations, treatments, and integrative testing into a structured plan to support your long-term health and skin goals—at a more affordable price. These programs are designed for committed clients and offer value through intentional progression and savings.

Once a Nutrition Package or Skin Journey is purchased—whether paid upfront or via PayPal Pay-in-4—the purchase is strictly non-refundable, with no exceptions. Please also note, PayPal Pay-in-4 options have the paypal 3.6% merchant fee factored into the price.

Clients have the option to:

Commit to a package (with flexible payment options available to support affordability), or
Pay-as-you-go for individual appointments and testing at full rates, without package benefits.

By choosing a package, you acknowledge and accept that it is a final sale. No refunds, chargebacks, or payment cancellations will be accepted once payment has been made.

We strongly encourage clients to make an informed decision before committing. Our team is available to answer any questions and clarify inclusions prior to purchase.

Skin Subscription Terms

By subscribing to a Glow by Elly Skin Subscription, you agree to a minimum 3-month contract. During this time, no cancellations, pauses, or refunds will be accepted under any circumstances.

Subscriptions are billed weekly, though fortnightly billing can be arranged upon request to accommodate your budget.
After the initial 3-month term, a minimum of one month’s written notice is required to pause or cancel your subscription.
If the required notice is not provided, charges will continue until notice is received and the notice period is fulfilled.

These policies are designed to support the integrity of your treatment plan and ensure consistency in results. By engaging in services or subscriptions at Glow by Elly, you agree to honour these terms in full.

Information for DNA Food & Pet Sensitivity Testing

This information is relevant to individuals who would like to order genetic food and pet sensitivity testing. The DNA reporting is attained through an external, Australian lab that safely analyses the saliva sample via PCR testing to create a Food & Pet Sensitivity Report. The DNA report reveals how your genes may make you more sensitive to common irritants including: gluten (wheat), egg, lactose (dairy), cow milk protein (whey or casein), peanuts, histamine and pet dander. Results from such test, contain information only from the genes tested and do not include environmental factors that may cause or aggravate symptoms. The analysis and report are based on scientific studies and publications which are shared in the back of the report labeled Supporting Science or References. The test is not labelled as an allergy test, it can test the above common dietary and environmental irritants genetically. The report is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Intellectual Property

All DNA intolerance testing reports formats, nutrition review meal plans, and dietary guides provided by Glow by Elly are the intellectual property of Glow by Elly. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or modification of these materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Liability

Glow by Elly prescribes and advises based on the information provided by the client. It is essential that all information is accurate and not withheld. Glow by Elly cannot be held liable for any issues arising from misinformation provided by the client during treatment.
